Ventana Medical Center: A New Era of Medical Office Design in the San Fernando Valley
Ventana Medical Center has set a new standard for medical office buildings in the San Fernando Valley. Located on a 2.37-acre site at 18131 Ventura Blvd. in Tarzana, this modern four-story facility is home to the largest integrated cancer treatment center in the region, offering comprehensive services in radiology, oncology, and ambulatory surgery center.
Developed by TriStar Realty Group and designed by NEO & Associates Inc., the building is the vision of award-winning architect Edward Osuch. The 112,000-square-foot facility features a dramatic 60-foot curved glass entrance and a striking mural by artist Sage Vaughn.
Opened in 2016 after a five-year entitlement and approval process, Ventana has become a vital hub for premier medical providers including Breastlink Women’s Imaging, Liberty Pacific Advanced Imaging, and FMG Obstetrics & Gynecology. The facility also includes a restaurant, pharmacy, valet parking, and an 824-car garage.
A Landmark at Tarzana’s Gateway
Often referred to as the "gateway to Tarzana," Ventana is the first major medical development in the area in over 20 years. With a $50 million investment, TriStar brought to life a signature building that reflects Osuch’s bold and expressive design style—one that has helped define the look of modern healthcare facilities in Southern California.
